Grey slatted wall panels running floor to ceiling are the centrepiece of this garage makeover in Ascot, Berkshire, turning plain white walls into a sleek, textured space with a real sense of style. The panels wrap around the garage, finished with black skirting, and bring warmth and depth that paint alone could never achieve.
Above, bespoke hexagon LED lighting runs the full length of the ceiling, picking out the texture of the slats and giving bright, even light for parking, working and storage. An overhead ceiling rack makes use of the space above, while tall matt black cabinets frame the panelled door into the house, keeping everyday kit neatly hidden away. Underfoot, interlocking floor tiles in light and dark grey mark out a smart parking bay with a contrasting border, for a tough, easy-clean finish that ties the whole design together. The result is a garage with the look and feel of a high-end showroom, as impressive to walk through as it is practical to use.
